Re: QAPD and Part 71 Issue Hi Steve, I've copied Steve Philpott so you have his contact info.
Basically, we need to understand what you're requesting with the Part 71 verbiage that was added to the QAPD because it seems to imply that the QAPD is incorporating the 71.101(f) notification, which isnt typically done with a QAPD, at least none that weve been able to find. If thats not the intent, then it is probably easiest to send in something clarifying that and remove the language in a future revision of the TR. X-energy could than later make the 71.101(f) notification later when ready.
If the intent was to make that notification via the QAPD, then we would need to clarify the scope of the approval you are seeking and that is more of a technical discussion that is probably best handled in a public meeting.
Ill make sure Steve has the info and he can discuss with Adrian.
