SUBMITTAL OF SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION IN SUPPORT OF REVIEW OF REVISION 45 OF COLUMBIA FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY (CFFF)
FUNDAMENTAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL CONTROL PLAN (FNMCP)
Dear Director,
In accordance with 10 CFR 70.34 and SNM-1107 License Condition SG-1.1, Westinghouse Electric Company LLC (Westinghouse) requested U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) prior approval for multiple changes to the FNMCP for the CFFF, Revision 45, in Westinghouse correspondence LTR-SR-25-5 (ADAMS Accession No. ML25209A443, non-public). To support technical review of its request, Westinghouse is submitting supplemental information including one page change to the wording of an amendment request for FNMCP Section 3.4.3 and a single page change to delete an amendment request in FNMCP Sections 5.3.3 and 5.3.4. A summary table of these page changes and twenty editorial and administrative page changes is included with Enclosure 2.
contains a revised table of detailed descriptions and justifications for the changes provided in the revision record for Revision 45 of the FNMCP. Enclosure 2 contains a summary table of the changes to individual pages and the updated pages for FNMCP Revision 45. As stated in Westinghouses July 2025 request, Revision 44 of the FNMCP will remain in effect until approval is received under 10 CFR 70.34. Following approval of FNMCP Revision 45, the full FNMCP incorporating the page changes included in this correspondence will be transmitted to NRCs Division of Fuel Management and Region II.
