[External_Sender] RE: Discuss question on impurities request for Safkeg-LS Date:

- Kris,
Thanks for your time today. As promised weve put the responses to the points discussed on an email:
In the request for impurities, the provided tabulated list of impurities with quantities were those values from two package users. They consider these values to be bounding of their shipments, hence the tables being titled bounding. These are the main two users that have a requirement for the inclusion of impurities, however, the addition of an impurities allowance will benefit other existing or new users. Thus the request letter stated typical, as the actual impurities may vary for these other users. However for all, an allowance of 0.25 A2 for impurities should be sufficient.
The immediate requirement for the two users for the inclusion of impurities are for shipments in the 3983 insert. Thus to meet the immediate user requirements, the addition of the 0.25 A2 allowance is only necessary for this insert permitted contents. However, if it was possible for NRC to include this for all solid contents types (whilst still meeting the discussed dates), this would be preferred.
Kind regards,
Guy
