At the request of the consulting Tribe, their comment letter dated December 19, 2025, regarding the NRCs draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) and Section 106 determinations for the Clinch River Construction Permit review has been designated as non-public in accordance with government-to-government confidentiality provisions. The Tribes Tribal Historic Preservation Officer has reviewed and approved the following public summary:
By letter dated December 19, 2025, one Federally recognized Indian Tribe provided comments on the draft SEIS and Section 106 determinations by finding no adverse effects and no objection to the project. The Indian Tribe requested further communications and consultation if the APE changes, or the project experiences any inadvertent discoveries of historic and cultural materials and/or human remains.
