Thank you for your letter dated November 4, 2025. As part of our established process, the decision regarding the petition was made following a thorough evaluation against the NRCs petition acceptance criteria.
Consistent with Executive Order 14300, Ordering the Reform of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the NRC is conducting a review and wholesale revision of its regulations. As part of that effort, the NRC is undertaking a Modernizing Reactor Licensing, Safety Oversight, and Siting rulemaking that combines the Increased Enrichment of Conventional and Accident Tolerant Fuel Designs for Light-Water Reactors and other rulemaking initiatives We encourage you to participate in the upcoming public comment period, where you will have the opportunity to provide input on the proposed rule and share your views. All comments received during that period will be considered as part of the rulemaking process.
