THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION RESPONSE TO ENTERGY OPERATIONS, INC., TRIENNIAL U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION-EVALUATED FORCE-ON-FORCE INSPECTION DATE CHANGE REQUEST
Dear Josh Toben:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff received and reviewed your correspondence titled 0CAN2025-01001 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML26008A305). Your email stated that Entergy requests to change the dates of the NRC-evaluated Force-on-Force (FOF) inspections at Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2 (ANO), due to the current NRC FOF inspection occurring close to the spring refueling outage projected end date.
The staff finds it reasonable to move the NRC-evaluated FOF inspection dates of ANO and therefore approves the new schedule. ANOs currently scheduled NRC-evaluated FOF inspection in June 2026 will be subsequently rescheduled to September/October 2026.
