Mr. Otto Gustafson, Vice President, Regulatory Assurance Entergy Services, LLC M-ECH-29 1340 Echelon Parkway Jackson, MS 39213

SUBJECT:

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM APPROVAL FOR RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL PACKAGES NO. 0566, REVISION 7

Dear Otto Gustafson:

By \

letter dated August 5, 2025, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System

[ADAMS] Accession No. ML25217A492), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy, the licensee) submitted for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review and approval, a revision to the Entergy Quality Assurance Program Manual (QAPM) for Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2; Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1; River Bend Station, Unit 1; and Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 50.54(a)(4). Subsequently, the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, Division of Reactor Oversight, Quality Assurance and Vendor Inspection Branch staff reviewed Entergys submittal and determined that the QAPM described in the Quality Assurance Program Description meets the criteria of Appendix B Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Processing Plants, to 10 CFR Part 50, Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities, and was, therefore, acceptable as documented in a letter from the NRC dated September 30, 2025 (ML25268A234).

Enclosed is the Quality Assurance Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0566, Revision 7. This Approval satisfies the requirements of 10 CFR 71.17(b) and 71.101(f) for a QAPM approved by the NRC.

Termination of a materials license does not cause an Approval to be automatically terminated. If you wish to amend an Approval and have determined it reduces commitments, or terminate the Approval, please request it in writing.

This letter also serves as a reminder that if you are using or planning to use an NRC-approved package, you must be registered for use of that package with the NRC. Registration for use of NRC-approved packages should be made pursuant to 10 CFR 71.17(c)(3).

In accordance with 10 CFR Part 2, Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
