ATOMIC ALCHEMY OPERATORS LLC - WITHDRAWAL OF CONSTRUCTION PERMIT APPLICATION (EPIDs: L-2025-LRM-0134; L-2025-LLE-0025)
Dear Mr. Eiden:
By letter dated September 12, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML25255A199), you transmitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the first part of an application, pursuant to section 103 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 50, Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities, for a construction permit for a four-unit, non-power, light-water-cooled, pool-type Versatile Isotope Production Reactor. Subsequently, by letter dated December 19, 2025 (ML25353A630), you withdrew the construction permit application, which includes the exemption request to submit the construction permit application in two parts.
The NRC staff has ceased all review activities related to the construction permit application and exemption request. The associated charge numbers were closed. The NRC staff will file the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Construction Permit Application with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
