PALISADES NUCLEAR PLANT - ONE-TIME EXEMPTION FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR 26.205(d) (EPID L-2025-LLE-0032)
Dear Ms. Fleming:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted a one-time exemption from the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 26.205(d) for the Palisades Nuclear Plant, pursuant to 10 CFR 26.9. This action is in response to your application dated December 12, 2025, as supplemented by letters dated December 26. 2025, December 31, 2025, and January 5, 2026, which requested the use of the less restrictive outage work hour controls in 10 CFR 26.205(d)(4) and (d)(5) to support activities during the period of the proposed exemption commencing on January 6, 2026, and for a period not to exceed 60 days.
A copy of the exemption is enclosed. The exemption has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
