By letter dated July 15, 2025 (ML25196A469), Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC, the licensee) submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (Vogtle), Units 3 and 4. The LAR proposes to revise combined license (COL) Appendix A, Technical Specifications (TS) Actions for TS 3.3.13, [Engineered Safety Feature Actuation System] ESFAS Main Control Room Isolation, Air Supply Initiation, and Electrical Load De[1]energization, and TS 3.7.6, Main Control Room Emergency Habitability System (VES).
By email dated August 5, 2025 (ML25217A107), the NRC accepted the LAR for review and estimated that this LAR would take approximately 211 hours0.00244 days <br />0.0586 hours <br />3.488757e-4 weeks <br />8.02855e-5 months <br /> to complete and be completed by June 12, 2026.
The NRC staff was able to realign staff assignments and readjust workloads; therefore, the revised completion date is February 20, 2026, and the estimated hours remain unchanged.
