Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555-0001 Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 Supplement 1 to Application for Subsequent Renewal of Operating Licenses Ladies and Gentlemen:

By letter dated May 15, 2025 (ML25135A390), Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) submitted the subsequent license renewal application (SLRA) of Facility Operating License No.

DPR-57 and NPF-5 for Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Hatch) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). From June to September 2025, the NRC conducted a safety audit of the Hatch SLRA. The enclosures to this supplement are categorized by the NRC convention of Technical Review Package (TRP). Each enclosure covers one TRP and provides a description of the change, the affected sections and pages in the SLRA, and a markup of the SLRA pages.

Associated markups are denoted by strikethrough (deletion) or bold red underline (insertion) text.

This letter contains no NRC commitments. If there are any questions regarding this submittal, please contact Amy Aughtman at 205.992.7006 or agaughtm@southernco.com.
