Dear Dir. Warden:
Enclosed is an export license application, XB1373, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on August 6, 2025, from Sanders Medical Products, Inc. In this application, Sanders Medical Products, Inc. is requesting approval to export specified quantities of Germanium-68 (Ge-68) to Pakistan.
Since Pakistan is on the restricted list (10 CFR Part 110.29), before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
If you have any questions, please contact the Licensing Officer, Joanne Savoy at Joanne.Savoy@nrc.gov and forward your response to ecnp_ebresponse.resource@nrc.gov.
Sincerely, X
