Written communication as specified by 10 CFR 73.4 regarding changes to the University of California - Davis/McClellan Nuclear Research Center Physical Security Plan, without prior Commission approval pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p )(2)
The University of California - Davis/McClellan Nuclear Research Center has changed its physical security plan in accordance with IO CFR 50.54(p)(2). The enclosed report provides a description of the change and an analysis detailing how the change does not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. The report also includes a page replacement guide and replacement pages to be inserted into the current MNRC Physical Security Plan. All revisions are indicated by vertical lines in the right margin.
The enclosed envelope contains correspondence that has been classified as Safeguards lnformation designated as Safeguards Information - Modified Handling by Wesley Frey (Level 2 Management and NRC-Approved Reviewing Official) on 9/ 18/2025 in accordance with IO CFR 73.23. Public disclosure of this information is prohibited by statute (JO CFR 73.23(b)). Therefore, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390, I request that the enclosed document and this transmittal letter be withheld from public disclosure.
As required by IO CFR 50.30 (b), I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
