Purpose:
The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for the NRC and the industry to discuss ongoing efforts to improve PRA Realism. This is a continuation of the workshop originally scheduled for September 30-October 1 that was interrupted due to the government shutdown. Topics will include presentations on PRA modeling applications, operating experience, external hazards, human reliability analysis, regulatory and oversight applications, realism for advanced reactors and public perspectives.

Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session: The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments toward regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Comments:
This workshop is open to the public. This meeting will be hosted as a hybrid meeting with both on-site and remote participation available.
Effective September 1, 2025, Federal employees and contractors will be able to use a kiosk and their Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card to access the NRC Headquarters facilities. All other visitors must be pre-registered prior to entering the NRC. These visitors who wish to participate in person must e-mail Michelle.gonzalez@nrc.gov to make arrangements to be admitted to NRC facilities. Non-U.S. citizens must present a valid passport during screening and a copy must be sent to InternationalVisitor.Resource@nrc.gov at least 12 business days before arrival. The deadline for in-person registration is December 22, 2025.
Security Officers will not be able to register visitors upon arrival.
