Docket No. 50-482: Notice of Intent to Pursue Subsequent License Renewal for Wolf Creek Generating Station Commissioners and Staff:
In the Reference, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2009-06, Revision 1, to emphasize to licensees the importance of giving the NRC advance notice of their plans for license renewal.
In response to RIS 2009-06, Revision 1, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) is providing this notice of intent regarding its plans to pursue subsequent license renewal for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS). WCNOC plans to submit the Subsequent License Renewal Application (SLRA) for WCGS in the first quarter of 2030 (i.e. January to March 2030).
