On June 17, 2025, Fermi America submitted Part 1 of a COLA for the Donald J. Trump Generating Plant - Units 1 - 4 (Reference 1). This document contained eleven parts including Part 3, an Environmental Report. On November 4, 2025, the NRC acknowledged Fermi Americas commitment to participate in the applicant-prepared National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA) document pilot program (Reference 2).
Based on this commitment and following discussions with NRC staff, Fermi America has decided to withdraw COLA Part 3, Environmental Report and associated supporting information. Fermi America looks forward to supporting this pilot project and as noted in Reference 2 will work together with NRC to facilitate a timely and effective environmental review of the project.
