Mr. Pebbles,

The non-proprietary (public) version of the final summary report for the regulatory audit associated with the NRC staffs review of Topical Report (TR) KP-TR-020-P, Safety Analysis Methodology for the Kairos Power Fluoride Salt-Cooled High-Temperature Test Reactor, will be available in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML25344A109. By letter dated June4,2024, Kairos Power, LLC (Kairos) submitted for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review KPTR-020-P, Safety Analysis Methodology for the Kairos Power Fluoride Salt-Cooled High-Temperature Test Reactor, Revision0 (ML24156A162). On September 25, 2024, the NRC issued an audit plan for the purpose of gaining a better understanding of KP-TR-020-P (ML24269A202). In many cases Kairos updated the TR to resolve items discussed in the audit. By letter dated July29, 2025, Kairos submitted Revision1 of KPTR020P (ML25210A576). The NRC staff has completed this audit and prepared a draft audit summary report.

The NRC staff provided Kairos a draft of the audit summary report for the purpose of identifying proprietary export controlled information on December 10, 2025 (ML26005A195). Kairos provided comments regarding the proprietary export controlled information in the draft audit summary report on December 23, 2025 (ML26005A196). The NRC staff incorporated those comments, as appropriate, into the final audit summary report.

A copy of the proprietary (non-public) version of the final audit summary report has been placed in the NRCs external sharepoint site to which you and Delaney Simmons have been given access.
