This report will be used as the basis for ice barrier installation during the 2025/2026 season.
For the 2025/2026 winter season, the ice barriers will be installed beginning November 17, 2025. The earlier installation this year will allow for testing of upgrades to the ice barrier guides, which will improve installation and removal of the ice barriers. Once the barriers are installed, they will be left in place through February 28, 2026. In the rare instances that conditions for ice formation occur outside of the installation schedule, It may be necessary for the ice barriers to remain in place longer to allow for safe plant operation. In these rare cases, additional days that the ice barriers are installed will be minimized to only when necessary, based on ambient condItIons
National Marine Fisheries Service LR-E25-0089 10/31/2025 Notification will be made to NMFS and NRC of any schedule mod1f1cations outside of anticipated dates of November 17, 2025, and February 28, 2026, should they occur If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Cary at richard.cary@pseg.com.
