Dear Director Warden:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission received the enclosed export license application, XCOM1377, on September 4, 2025. Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Service, LLC is requesting to export steam generator nozzle dam systems, and reactor and steam generator maintenance tooling and equipment for use at Angra Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2 in Brazil.
Assurances are required from Brazil that the components will be subject to all the provisions of Section 109b of the AEA. The NRC requests your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances.
Please note that the non-public version of the application contains proprietary information. The NRC will not include this in the public record and requests that the Executive Branch agencies protect it as well.
