By letter dated January 28, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession No. ML25028A254), Studsvik Scandpower (Waltham, MA) (Studsvik) submitted Topical Report (TR) SSP-14-P01/028, Generic Application of the Studsvik Scandpower Core Management System to Pressurized Water Reactors [(PWR)], to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review and approval. TR SSP-14-P01/028 extends the range of applicability of the CMS5 Generic PWR TR SSP P01/028-TR-P01/028-TR-P-A for higher enrichment and higher burnup. In addition, TR SSP-14-P01/028 is applicable to light water pressurized small modular reactors. By e-mail dated March 24, 2025, the NRC accepted TR SSP-14-P01/028 for review.
The NRC sta conducted an in-person audit at Studsviks facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho, from June 24 - 26, 2025, to increase its understanding of the application and identify information that will require docketing to support the NRC stas regulatory "ndings. The regulatory audit report documenting the documents reviewed and subjects discussed is enclosed.
