By letter May 20, 2025 (ML25140A062), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) submitted Part 2 of an application for a construction permit (CP) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) including the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) and Exemptions and Variances (Reference 1). In a letter dated July 9, 2025, the NRC stated it had accepted for review Part 2 of the application (Reference 2). The NRC staff is currently conducting an audit of the CRN CPA (Reference 3).
The purpose of this letter is to provide NRC audit questions, associated TVA responses and PSAR changes supporting the TVA responses. TVA-identified Construction Permit Application PSAR revisions are also included in Enclosures 2.
