PALISADES NUCLEAR PLANT - ONE-TIME EXEMPTION FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR 26.205(d)(3) AND (d)(7)
Dear Ms. Fleming:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted a one-time exemption from the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 26, Fitness for Duty Programs, Paragraphs 26.205(d)(3) and (d)(7) for the Palisades Nuclear Plant, pursuant to 10 CFR 26.9. This action is in response to your application dated August 12, 2025, as supplemented by letter dated October 15, 2025, which requested the use of the less restrictive outage work hour controls in 10 CFR 26.205(d)(4) and (d)(5) to support restart activities during the period of the proposed exemption commencing on November 3, 2025, for a period not to exceed 60 days.
A copy of the exemption is enclosed. The exemption has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
