Dear Scott Flanders:
The purpose of this letter is to certify to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO) has completed the annual self-assessment of the Insider Threat Program as required by 32 Code of Federal Regulations 1 l 7.7(h)(2)(iii).
In accordance with the NRC-approved security plans at the three sites in Piketon, Ohio; Oak Ridge, Tennessee; and Bethesda, Maryland, the required self-assessment has been completed and documented within a formal report available at the site for NRC inspection.
Key Management Personnel have been briefed on the results of this assessment effort; any corrective actions required were documented and will be addressed. Management fully supports the security program at each of these three sites.
