By letter May 20, 2025 (ML25140A062), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) submitted Part 2 of an application for a construction permit (CP) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) including the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) and Exemptions and Variances (Reference 1 ). In a letter dated July 9, 2025, the NRC stated it had accepted for review Part 2 of the application (Reference 2). The NRC staff is currently conducting an audit of the CRN CPA (Reference 3).

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission NNP-25-009 Page 2 October 1, 2025 The purpose of this letter is to provide additional technical information required by CRN Site CPA Enclosure 2, PSAR Section 1.5, Further Technical Information-Seismic Analysis. In addition, this letter also contains NRC audit questions, associated TVA responses and PSAR changes supporting the TVA responses. TVA-identified CPA PSAR revisions are included in Enclosures 3 and 4. of this letter contains the updated CRN Site CPA, PSAR Section 1.5, Further Technical Information-Seismic Analysis (Public Version). of this letter contains NRC audit questions and associated TVA responses (Public Version). of this letter contains the public version of the CRN Site CPA, PSAR changes (Public Version). of this letter contains the non-public version of the CRN Site CPA, PSAR changes (Non-Public Version). of this letter contains security-related information and, as such, it is requested that it be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding." Security-related information has been redacted from the document provided in Enclosure 3 of this letter. Redacted information is identified in Enclosure 3 of this letter by including "Security-Related Information -

Withhold Under 10 CFR 2.390" in the header of the page.

This letter makes no regulatory commitments and no revisions to any existing regulatory commitments.
