This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.
Purpose:
NRC staff and industry representatives will discuss aerosol removal rate and environmental qualification guidance relevant to use of updated AST source term guidance. The workshops allow for the NRCs external stakeholders to participate in the regulatory process through a comment gathering format as described in the NRCs policy statement on public meetings at 86 FR 14964. The staff will collect comments and input through note-taking and will consider this information while drafting updates to guidance.
Meeting POC is David Garmon (david.garmon@nrc.gov) and Bill Rautzen (william.rautzen@nrc.gov). Stakeholders who wish to attend in person should register via the webinar link and provide requested information via email to meeting POCs before September 19, 2025.
