No formal response requested on concerns that if true will be minor violations or findings 3

If an allegation concern is received by NRC that, if true, would be of minor significance, the ARB will have the option to refer the concern to the licensee/vendor for entry into their Corrective Action Program (CAP) without a formal response Only for facilities with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B CAP Must place into the CAP and provide CAP number to NRC Exceptions:

Expand the definition of low OI priorities in the Allegation Manual 4

Addition of Low Priority Examples certain discrimination concerns (older than 5 years) licensed operator fitness for duty concerns if the licensee identified and corrected issue and operator was not doing duties under the influence allowing NRC identified or alleger identified concerns to be in the low priorities category The Allegation Review Board may determine an OI investigation is not warranted for concerns that are categorized as low OI priority.
