The LTR was submitted by \
letter dated July 28, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession No. ML25209A575). The NRC staff has reviewed the submitted information and found that it provides sufficient technical information to enable the NRC staff to complete a detailed technical review.
A preliminary review schedule was discussed with your staff, Elisa Fairbanks, on September 11, 2025, and is based on the NRC staffs cursory review for sufficiency and completeness. The NRC staff plans to issue a request for additional information (RAI) by January 27, 2026. NRC staff expects to provide the safety evaluation with no open items to NuScale for proprietary material review by May 29, 2026. The schedule is based on the assumption that the applicant will submit an acceptable response within 30 days of receiving the staff's RAI and no additional rounds of RAIs are needed.
