Jill,

At the request of the California State Historic Perseveration Officer (CA SHPO), the Vallecitos Nuclear Center (VNC) architectural historical survey has been updated to expand the Area of Potential Effects (APE) to include the entirety of the VNC rather than only Areas 200 and 300 (GETR and VBWR). This evaluation covering the entirety of the site has been completed and has been added to Box for your review and sharing with the CA SHPO. The final report Architectural History Survey of Vallecitos Nuclear Center, Alameda County, California dated July 2025 may be found in Box along with a letter from SEARCH, dated July 21, 2025 explaining the expanded scope of the review.

This email hereby requests that the SEARCH report and forwarding letter be utilized as deemed necessary to support communications with the CA SHPO.

Thank you.
