COLTS MANUFACTURING COMPANY, LLC AMENDEDED SEALED SOURCE AND DEVICE REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE NR-1509-D-101-E
Dear Mr. Scott:
This letter is in response to Colts Manufacturing Company, LLC application dated April 7, 2025, requesting an amendment to the sealed source and device registration certificate, NR-1509-D-101-E, to add the Family 4 model of gunsights. We have completed our review of your request, and a copy of the amended registration certificate NR-1509-D-101-E is enclosed.
Please note that, although we have added a reviewer's note concerning the Kansas City distribution locations you've requested to add, the SSD registration certificate does not authorize distribution from these locations.
Please be advised that you must manufacture and distribute any registered product in accordance with the statements and representations contained in your application, with enclosures thereto, and the information set out in your registration certificates. A registration certificate is meant to indicate that your product is acceptable for licensing purposes but does not authorize distribution or possession of radioactive material. As a general rule, you must request and obtain an amendment to the certificate before you make changes or modifications to the information submitted to obtain the certificate.
Please read over the registration certificate in its entirety and notify us immediately of any errors or omissions.
You are obligated to notify us promptly in writing if you decide to no longer manufacture, distribute, or offer service support for the product.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.390 of the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRCs) Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
