Thursday, August 21, 2025 9:30:00 AM Verbal Script - Final (5).docx Mr. Mack, In accordance with NRR Office Instruction LIC-102, Relief Request Reviews, the Nuclear Commission Regulatory (NRC) staff provided verbal authorization on August 19, 2025, for St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, Unit 2, for the alternative Relief Request #3, as described in your letter to the NRC dated August 14, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25226A132). The script read on August 19th that provides verbal authorization can be found in the attached. The NRC staff intends to follow-up this verbal authorization with a written safety evaluation within 127 days from the date of the verbal authorization. A copy of this email and attached verbal authorization will become publicly available in ADAMS, during which time I will provide the ADAMS accession number to you.
