OF JULY 17, 2025, CLOSED POST-SUBMITTAL MEETING REGARDING REVIEW OF WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY TOPICAL REPORT WCAP-16996-P/NP, REVISION 1, SUPPLEMENT 1, REVISION 0, EXTENSION OF FULL SPECTRUM' LOCA (FSLOCA') EVALUATION METHODOLOGY TO 2-LOOP WESTINGHOUSE PRESSURIZED WATER REACTORS (PWRS) WITH INFORMATION TO SATISFY LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS SPECIFIC TO 2-LOOP PLANT TYPES (EPID: L-2025-NTR-0002)
On July 17, 2025, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a virtual closed post-submittal meeting with Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) representatives regarding the review of Westinghouse Topical Report (TR) WCAP-16996-P/NP, Revision 1, Supplement 1, Revision 0, Extension of FULL SPECTRUM' LOCA (FSLOCA') Evaluation Methodology to 2-loop Westinghouse Pressurized Water Reactors (PWRs) with Information to Satisfy Limitations and Conditions Specific to 2-loop Plant Types (Proprietary/Non-Proprietary),
that was submitted by Westinghouse via letter dated February 25, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML25057A397) to the NRC for review and approval. The purpose of the meeting was for the NRC staff and Westinghouse representatives to discuss proprietary information related to the scope, applicability, and content of the TR.
The meeting was noticed on July 1, 2025, and the meeting notice is available in ADAMS under Accession No. ML25182A157. A list of the attendees is enclosed.
