Attachment to 001075 Page 1 of 1 Summary of Changes to One Form that Implements the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP) for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS)
- 1. Form EPF 06-002-05, TSC Diesel Operations, Rev. 3 Form EPF 06-002-05 has been revised. This form provides emergency responders with guidance for operating the installed Technical Support Center (TSC) diesel generator or a temporary diesel generator. These changes are intended to improve directions provided for the step performers.
The form has been changed to provide improved guidance for placing a temporary diesel generator in service. The instructions for temporary diesel generator operation will be staged in the unit when required. This change eliminates the current guidance to develop temporary procedures or instructions for the TSC Operations Coordinator binder.
The form was also changed to provide more detailed steps for responsible individuals for monitoring engine parameters and monitoring fuel level during operation. These steps are important in an extended loss of power situation.
These changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the Wolf Creek Radiological Emergency Response Plan.
- 2. Form EPF 06-002, TSC Diesel Operations, Rev. 3A On 7/10/2025, Wolf Creek staff identified a clerical error on Revision 3 of Form EPF 06-002-05 released on 7/9/25. An administrative correction to the form was initiated to correct the clerical error and Revision 3A of Form EPF 06-002-05 was released on 7/16/25. The administrative correction deleted unrelated text that was unintentionally added prior to the word CAUTION on page 1 of 5. This was an administrative copy-paste error.
This administrative correction does not reduce the effectiveness of the Wolf Creek Radiological Emergency Response Plan.
