Dear Dir. Warden:
Enclosed is export license amendment application PXB242.01 from Halliburton Energy Services, Inc. which was accepted for review by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), on July 11, 2025. In this export license amendment, Halliburton Energy Services, Inc. is seeking approval to modify its current export license (PXB242.00), which authorizes the export of Category 2 quantities of Americium-241, Americium-241/Beryllium, Cesium-137 for well logging and perforating services to India.
The purpose of the export license amendment is to extend the license for 2 years.
Since India is on the restricted destinations list (10 CFR Part 110.29), before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
