WESTINGHOUSE REQUEST FOR PRIOR APPROVAL OF REVISION 45 OF COLUMBIA FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY FUNDAMENTAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL CONTROL PLAN
Dear Director,
In accordance with 10 CFR 70.34 and SNM-1107 License Condition SG-1.1, Westinghouse Electric Company LLC (Westinghouse) is requesting U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission prior approval for seven changes to the enclosed Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP) for the Columbia Fuel Fabrication*Facility (CFFF), Revision 45. The remainder of the changes are administrative in nature, do not decrease the effectiveness of the FNMCP and are submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 70.32(c). Enclosure 1 contains a table of the descriptions and justifications for the changes provided in the revision record for the FNMCP. Enclosure 2 contains Revision 45 of the FNMCP. Enclosure 3 contains the current FNMCP, Revision 44 for reference. Revision 44 of the FNMCP will remain in effect until approval is received for the FNMCP changes submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 70.34.
