Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to construct and operate a uranium-enrichment facility (subsequently referred to as the Paducah Laser Enrichment Facility [PLEF]). The license would authorize GLE to possess and use special nuclear, source, and by-product material in the PLEF.
The proposed PLEF situated on GLE owned land is located near the City of Kevil, McCracken County.
Based on correspondence and meetings with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District (LRL) in June 2025, GLE has prepared a supplemental summary of additional information related to the jurisdictional status and off-site connectivity of wetlands, streams, and ponds located on the GLE PLEF Project Area. This supplement provides the requested
REGS-PLEF-FED-LTR-1000006 Page 2 of 2 additional information related to the jurisdictional determination request for the PLEF originally submitted in December 2024.
GLE welcomes any responses from USACE-LRL to support activities at GLE PLEF Project Area.
