June 27, 2025 Ms. Rebecca Johnson Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc.
4126 Caine Lane Chattanooga, TN 37421
Dear Ms. Johnson:
On May 30, 2025, Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc. submitted an NRC Form 7 application requesting a specific license for a proposed export of minor reactor components to Japan (i.e., application number XCOM1374). The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has reviewed the application and per 10 CFR 110.26, this request falls under the general license requirement for the export of nuclear reactor components. Thus, based on the NRCs review of your application, a specific export license is not required for this request as the general license requirements apply to your proposed export. The NRC is returning this request and will no longer take any action related to this request.
If you have additional questions regarding this letter that returns without action your application for a specific license, please contact Ms. Lauren Mayros via email at:
Lauren.Mayros@nrc.gov.
Sincerely, X
