The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is publishing the following document in the Federal Register:
Title:
Proposed Rule: Approval of the 2023 Edition of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and Code Cases, Revision 41 Description of the document: This rule revises the NRC regulations in accordance with its policy to periodically incorporate by reference new editions of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) codes that the NRC finds to be acceptable (or conditionally acceptable). These code cases relate to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the ASME Operation and Maintenance Code for nuclear power plants.
Dates: The public comment period will end 60 days after publication.
