Kemmerer, WY, 82941 Email:bhughfitz@aol.com Phone:3072723466 General Comment I have always the believed that the most important thing in building prosperity is access to clean, abundant and cheap energy. As a former electrical Engineer, I know that the most adaptive and useful form of energy is electrical energy. You can do almost anything with electrical energy; it is the sine qua non of energy. Almost more than anything else, we need abundant and cheap electrical energy. And as a US Navy veteran (the US Navy and Admiral Hyman Rickover invented nuclear power), I know that there is no more powerful or efficient way to generate electrical energy than with nuclear power. I have watched with frustration these last 40 years as we have cobbled ourselves by suppressing nuclear power.
I have read a little about natrium cooled nuclear power plants and believe this will hold no threat to the safety of people in Kemmerer, WY. But it will bring great economic enrichment to the area which will immeasurably improve the health and prosperity of the people of South Lincoln County. I very strongly support the building and operation of this facility.
