STAFF REQUIREMENTS - BRIEFING ON HUMAN CAPITAL AND EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY On June 17, 2025, the Commission was briefed by the NRC staff on the agencys strategic human capital initiatives and equal employment opportunity activities to strengthen the NRC workforce. Topics included an overview of human capital management and time to hire; workload and project management: enabling mission success; workforce planning: process, capabilities, and key functionalities; tracking agency staff qualifications, specialties, and experience; modernizing training: meeting the demands of training for current and future staff; and enabling success through innovative and timely decision-making.
The meeting, which was held in the Commissioners Hearing Room, One White Flint North, Rockville, Maryland at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, was open to members of the public attending in person and via webcast.
The Commission identified no requirements for staff action.
