PETITION TO INTERVENE AND REQUEST FOR HEARING REGARDING THE LICENSE AMEMDMENT REQUEST FROM HOLTEC PALISADES, LLC FOR PALISADES NUCLEAR PLANT (DOCKET NO. 50-255)
The Office of the Secretary has received a petition to intervene and request for hearing from Terry J. Lodge and Wallace L. Taylor on behalf of Beyond Nuclear, Dont Waste Michigan, Michigan Safe Energy Future, Three Mile Island Alert, and Nuclear Energy Information Service.
The request, which was submitted through the E-Filing System on June 16, 2025, is in response to the license amendment request from Holtec Palisades, LLC for Palisades Nuclear Plant, Docket No. 50-255, as published in the Federal Register on April 15, 2025 (90 Fed. Reg. 15722). The deadline to request a hearing was June 16, 2025. The petition to intervene and request for hearing can be found in ADAMS under Accession Number ML25167A334 and on the Electronic Hearing Docket.
The request is being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R.
§ 2.346(i). This referral memorandum is being served on the E-Filing service list for the Palisades Nuclear Plant proceeding, Docket Nos. 50-255-LA-4.
