VENDOR INSPECTION OF ELEMENT MATERIALS TECHNOLOGYS QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM AND TITLE 10 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 21 PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
Dear Mr. Brown:
This letter documents the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staffs plan to perform an inspection of Element Materials Technologys Appendix B, Quality Assurance Program Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Reprocessing Plants, to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 50, Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities, and 10 CFR Part 21, Reporting of Defects and Noncompliance, programs, as they pertain to safety-related testing activities conducted at your facility for NRC regulated facilities. As discussed via email on April 7, 2025, the NRC inspection team plans to arrive at your facility on Monday, August 18, 2025, and will conduct an inspection through Friday, August 22, 2025. After the inspection, a report will be issued and transmitted to you via letter.
