STATUS OF RECOMMENDATIONS: INDEPENDENT EVALUATION OF THE NRCS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FEDERAL INFORMATION SECURITY MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2014 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020 (OIG-21-A-05)
This memorandum responds to your April 23, 2025, memorandum transmitting your analysis of our update to the Status of Recommendations: Independent Evaluation of the NRCs Implementation of the Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 for Fiscal Year 2020 (OIG-21-A-05). Based on your analysis, recommendations 5, 6, 8, 12, and 13 remain open and resolved. Recommendations 1 through 4, 7, and 9 through 11 were previously closed. The Office of the Chief Information Officer requests that recommendations 5, 6, 8, and 13 be closed, with the remainder in open and resolved status.
