Enclosed is export license application XCOM1374 which was accepted for review by the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission on June 9, 2025. In this export license application, Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc. is requesting to export replacement parts for the reactor core isolation cooling pump at the Tokai 2 Nuclear Power Plant in Japan.
We understand that the Executive Branch has accepted generic assurances from the Government of Japan for the export of minor reactor components to Japan. Therefore, as a matter of process, and in accordance with 10 CFR 110.81, the application will be public for 30 days before the NRC takes any action. If no dissenting comments are received, and all applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the license, after the requisite 30-day public comment period.
