ACRS ACTION ON REGULATORY GUIDES During its 273rd meeting, January 6-8, 1983, the ACRS concurred in the Regulatory Position of Regulatory Guide 1.97, Revision 3, "Instrumentation for Light-Water-Cooled Nuclear Power Plants to Assess Plant and Environs Conditions During and Following An Accident".
The ACRS wishes to be kept informed of the manner and details of implementation of this Guide, particu-larly with regard to the implementation schedule.
During this meeting, the ACRS considered also the proposed Regulatory Guide on Instrument Sensing Lines (Task No. IC 126-5), and decided to defer action on this Gui de pending addi ti anal review by the ACRS Subcommittee on Reactor Operations.
Subsequent to the review by this Subcommittee, the ACRS will reconsider this Guide during one of its future meetings.
