GENERAL MATTER, INC. - ONLINE REFERENCE PORTAL INFORMATION ACCESS AGREEMENT
Dear Ashby Bridges:
General Matter, Inc. (GeM) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff discussed the use of an online reference portal to provide the authorized NRC staff and contractors with limited, read-only access to certain materials owned by and under the control of GeM. The use of the online reference portal enables the NRC staff to access reference materials, which would otherwise require the NRC staff to travel to the GeM site to review, to timely and efficiently perform its regulatory licensing responsibilities.
The NRC and GeM agree that the enclosed Information Access Agreement (Agreement) is the only acknowledgment form for authorized NRC staff and contractors needed to access the online reference portal, although the Parties will separately agree upon a list of authorized users. Proposed modifications or additions to the Agreement will need to be submitted to the NRC staff for review and approval. If the NRC staff determines that information viewed or accessed via the online reference portal should be submitted to the NRC and evaluated, the NRC staff will inform GeM and request that GeM formally submit such information in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 70.5, Communications, as stated in section 4 of the Agreement.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
