STI: 35745743 ATTN: Document Control Desk Director, Division of Fuel Management Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555-0001 South Texas Project Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-498; 50-499; 72-1041 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Registration of Dry Spent Fuel Storage Casks In accordance with 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2), STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) is registering the use of three spent fuel storage casks to store spent fuel at the STP Units 1 and 2 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). The first cask was placed on the ISFSI pad on May 19, 2025, the second cask was placed on the ISFSI pad on May 27, 2025, and the third cask was placed on ISFSI pad on June 3, 2025.
The following information is provided as required by 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2):
