OF THE MAY 15, 2025, OBSERVATION PUBLIC MEETING FOR PRE-APPLICATION DISCUSSION OF BLUE ENERGY GLOBAL, INCS RESEQUENCING BALANCE OF PLANT AND NUCLEAR ISLAND CONSTRUCTION FOR BLUE ENERGY DEPLOYMENTS LICENSING TOPICAL REPORT SUBMITTAL The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held an observation public meeting on May 15, 2025, to discuss pre-application topics related to the Blue Energy Global, Inc.s (Blue Energy) method of resequencing balance of plant and nuclear island construction for a future Licensing Topical Report (LTR) submittal. Blue Energy requested this meeting to provide context for the method as part of the overall design and regulatory approach. Blue Energy also sought feedback from the NRC staff on the methodology approach proposed in the future LTR submittal. This meeting was the first pre-application meeting held on this topic.
The public meeting notice dated May 15, 2025, was posted on the NRC public website, and can be found in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) under Accession No. ML25126A171. Information related to Blue Energy presentation can be found under ML25134A284.
