Docket No. 50-255-LA-3 NOTIFICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff is filing this notification to inform the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board and the participants in this matter that on May 30, 2025, the Staff issued Final Environmental Assessment and Final Finding of No Significant Impact for the Palisades Nuclear Plant Reauthorization of Power Operations Project. This final Environmental Assessment and final Finding of No Significant Impact (Final EA/FONSI) is related to the potential reauthorization of power operations at Palisades, including the requests at issue in this contested proceeding.
The Palisades Final EA/FONSI may be obtained online in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Public Documents collection at https:www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html under Accession No. ML25111A031. The final FONSI and the notification of availability of the final EA have been published in the Federal Register. (90 Fed. Reg. 23,071).
