Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program, Revision 24 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54, "Conditions of licenses," paragraph (p)(2), Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) is submitting Revision 24 to the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS) Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program (Security Plan). This revision was implemented on March 7, 2025. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), PBAPS is submitting this change within 60 days of implementation (i.e., no later than May 6, 2025).
The PBAPS Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program have been revised as a result of new industry Rule guidance. The affected Security Plan sections are as follows:
- 1. Section 16.2; Communications; System Descriptions.
- 2. Section 24.1.3; Temporary Suspension of Security Measures; Reporting
- 3. Section 24.2.3; Suspensions of Security Measures during Severe Weather or Other Hazardous Conditions; Notification.
- 4. Appendix A: Glossary of Terms and Acronyms.
CEG has concluded that the changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the PBAPS Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, or the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program. and Attachment 2 contain Safeguards Information.
