OF CLOSED HYBRID PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING FOR WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY TOPICAL REPORT WCAP-19042 (EPID: L-2025-LRM-0037)
On May 20, 2025, a closed pre-submittal meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Division of Operating Reactor Licensing, Division of Engineering and External Hazards, and Division of Reactor Oversight staff, Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) representatives, and Mirion Technologies representatives. The meeting was held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual attendance). The purpose of the meeting was for Westinghouse representatives to present proprietary information related to the future submittal of Westinghouse Topical Report (TR) WCAP-19042. The Westinghouse representatives provided an overview of the TRs intended applicability and scope, an outline of the TR, and the submittal schedule. No regulatory decisions were made during the meeting.
By letter dated May 2, 2025, Westinghouse submitted presentation slides to the NRC (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25126A085). The meeting was noticed on April 8, 2025, and the meeting notice is available in ADAMS under Accession No. ML25127A387. The list of attendees is enclosed.
